Chicken
1 chicken, cut up or chicken pieces (breasts or thighs)
1 cup flour
3/4 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1/2 t MSG (optional)
Toss the chicken in a ziplock bag with flour, salt, pepper and MSG until it’s coated. Put it on the frying pan (with melted butter) and let simmer for 30-40 minutes. At about 20 minutes, flip the chicken over.
Gravy
1 T. + Wondra flour
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 cup milk
Use same pan you used to make chicken. If you have more than tablespoon of fat in the pan before you make gravy pour some off. Add flour, milk, salt and pepper. Wisk ingredients and bring to boil. Stir until thickened. Generally about two minutes.
