Ginger Snaps




1 1/2 c shortening
2 c sugar
1/2 c molasses
2 eggs
4 c flour
4 t soda
1/2 t salt
2 t cinnamon
2 t ginger

Direction:  Cream shortening, sugar, molasses and eggs in a bowl until it is light and fluffy. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture. Roll dough into walnut sized balls and roll into white sugar. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes or until light brown.
