Almond Poppy Seed Bread














3 cups flour
2 3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups oil
3 tsp poppy seeds
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. almond
1 Tbsp. butter flavoring
3 eggs


Directions:  Blend all ingredients together in one bowl and beat 2 minutes with electric mixer. Turn into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Glaze: Blend in saucepan 1/4 cup orange juice, 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp each of the above flavorings. Bring to a boil, simmer 5 minutes. Brush onto loaves while warm. Note: This recipe also makes 5 mini loaves. Bake about 40 minutes.
