Turtle Cake










1 package German Chocolate Cake Mix
3/4 c margarine/butter
1 c evaporated milk
14 oz of caramels
1 c chopped pecans
1 c chocolate chips

Directions: Combine cake mix, margarine and 2/3 c evaporated milk. Press 1/2 of mixture into 9 x 13’ pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Melt caramels and 1/3 evaporated milk. Pour over baked mixture. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips over caramel. Spread remaining cake mixture on top. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
